Welcome Back To A Day In The Life Of The Anonymous Me!

Today I have answered the questions in Christmas Tag for you. I hope you enjoy…

What’s your favourite makeup look for the festive season?
I have a few so be prepared for a long answer. On Christmas day I don’t wear any makeup except some concealer to hide any spots if I have any. I’m usually pretty fortunate and don’t get many. For Christmas parties I love a glittery silver eye with a cat eye flick and a red lipstick with a shimmery lipgloss over the top. I don’t tend to wear bronzer as there is no sun in the Winter in rainy, old England. However, Winter is perfect for blusher. Especially ones that make you look like you have just been out in the snow.

Real tree or fake tree?
REAL!! Buying and decorating my Christmas tree is one of my favourite things about Christmas. I love going to our local farm with my family and picking one out and then struggling to get it in the back of the car. The smell of pine needles are one of my favourite smells – someone needs to come up with a pine needle candle. Please let me know in the comments if this thing exists!

Giving presents or receiving presents?
I prefer giving presents. I love seeing the joy on someone’s face when they open the present you have spent ages selecting/making for them. I make lots of my Christmas presents as I feel they are more personal and my family really enjoy them.

Do you open your presents Christmas morning or evening?
Both! When we wake up in the morning my close family (my parents and sister) open our stockings and our presents for each other under the tree. Then we usually go round to my Grandad’s house where all my Mum’s sisters and their children stay for Christmas and we have an amazing Christmas Lunch. Then after lunch we open the rest of the presents.

Handmade Christmas cards or bought?
For me it is always handmade! I love making my friends and family really unique cards that they won’t get anywhere else. It’s something that I know that they will cherish forever and will be really grateful.

What’s your favourite Christmas film?
My favourite film is Arthur Christmas. I totally recommend it to all of you.

What’s your favourite Christmas food?
I’m going to cheat with this one and give you two foods. Firstly, I love stuffing balls. My family make great handmade stuffing balls and it is my favourite part of the Christmas Lunch. My second favourite Christmas food is mince pies. They are so yummy and they remind of my happy childhood Christmas memories.

So there are my answers. I would like to tag Sundays are Sunny and Birdree to complete the questions next.

Until next time, goodbye

        1. Going to the Nutcraker sounds really fun! I am spending Christmas with my family as they all come to stay at my Grandad’s house. It is a really special time as we are only ever all together at Christmas usually as we all live really far away from each other. Happy Blogging! xx
