Welcome Back To A Day In The Life Of The Anonymous Me,
Today I have a few tips to help you save money this Christmas. I hope you find them useful…
1. Make It! – Whether this making cards or making people’s actual Christmas present. Maybe if you can sew you could make some handmade Christmas decorations. People also really like it when you bake biscuits/cakes for them at Christmas. The effort you put into making it shows that you care and that they mean a lot to you.
2. Find Offers! – Around Christmas it can be quite overwhelming with all the new Christmas stock in the shops. However, there are some great offers. If you are buying for a beauty lover, note that Boots have a 3 for 2 on all Christmas gifting and that Superdrug have weekly reductions on Christmas gifting. Note that online with some stores you may get money off if you spend over a certain amount on their website, so try and buy all your presents in the same place online.
3. Charity Shops! – These shops have amazing bargains and lots of the items that they are selling are new. Also, there is nothing wrong with Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, so why not buy people clothes from Charity Shops this Christmas?
4. Joint Presents! – Do you want to buy someone a present but you can’t justify the price? The get together with a friend or family member and split the price between you. The receiver of the gift will understand that it was expensive and will be grateful that you put the effort in to organise buying it for you.
So there you have it! These are my tips to save money this Christmas. I’d love to hear your tips in the comments.
Until next time, goodbye
