Everyday Makeup Routine | Spring 2016

Welcome To A Day In The Life Of The Anonymous Me,

Today I am sharing with you my everyday makeup routine and who better to do this post with than Olivia, from the wonderful blog Pink Princess Olivia, so after you have read my post, go and check out her part of thr collaboration.

For everyday wear, I don’t like to wear lots of makeup and somedays I don’t wear anything at all – especially when I am at home. However, on the days I do wear makeup, this is what I wear. Enjoy!

I used two brushes for this look. The one on the left is the Makeup Revolution F10 brush and it is what I use to apply powder. The one on the right is an Eco Tools brush from their Christmas Set and I use it to apply concealer. You can find out more about these brushes in my Boxing Day Sales post.

I start off by applyng the Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer underneath my eyes, around my nose and on any spots/blemishes I may have – which thankfully isn’t many *whoop whoop*! It is a meduim coverage concealer and is really easy to blend.

Next I apply mascara on my top and bottom lashes. At the moment I am using one from Sleek, which is black. However, somedays if I want a really really really natural look, I wear clear mascara or brown mascara.

I then put some of this Lip Lustre Lipgloss from Seventeen onto my lips. It is a really lovely nude colour and perfect for everyday wear.image

I complete the look by adding the Rimmel Stay Matte powder on my face over where I have put the concealer, so it lasts all day. I really like this powder as it isn’t cakey and you can’t see it on the skin. I use 001 – Transparent.

That’s my everyday makeup routine! I would love to know in the comments if you use any of the same products as me and what your staples are for everday makeup. Also, don’t forget to go and check out Olivia’s post.

Happy Blogging! xx
