Collabmas Day 20 2016 : Perfect Winter Nail Varnishes

I love using deeper and darker colours in the Winter months and therefore my first recommendation is Dark Side Of The Moon by Nails Inc. (It’s also a great album). It’s a lovely plum colour and I love it!

Next up we have Sugar Plum by Tanya Burr Cosmetics. This is a slightly lighter plum colour and the cheaper of the two plum shades.

Then it’s Cookie Cutter, which is also by Tanya Burr Cosmetics. It is a clear nail polish, but it contains millions of brown and gold glitter particles(as I like to call them aha!). This is perfect to put over the top of your chosen nail varnish as an accent nail or you could put it over all of them to make your nails look super Christmassy.

Next up we have the nail varnish which wins THE BEST NAME EVER, which is Mischief Managed by Tanya Burr Cosmetics. It is the perfect red colour for winter – it’s a pillar box red. It glides on to your nails like a dream.

Then we have the nail varnish with a name that gives Mischief Managed a run for its money. It’s Fuschia Generation by Barry M. Don’t you just love that pun?! This is a slightly lighter shade than all the other colours I’ve talked about and it has a slightly purple tone.

 

Finally we have shade 19 from Astor, which until recently I had never heard of. Sadly their nail varnishes do not have names, but shade 19 is very similar to Tanya Burr’s Cookie Cutter, but it contains much finer glitter.
